How to apply

General Requirements

Participation is open to law, business, social sciences and humanities students (advanced bachelor level and/or higher), as well as practitioners, who hold an active interest in business and human rights issues. Applicants are required to have a good command of English to participate in the summer school, as all sessions will be taught in English.

Application: There are a no spaces left. Applications for 2019 are closed.

BHRICO for General and UZH Student Applicants

Tuition fees for the 2-week summer school from 7 to 19 July 2019 will be CHF 1200 for general student applicants. For UZH students, the tuition is CHF 350 (this includes subsidised institutional support). The tuition fee includes an excursion to the United Nations in Geneva, and both the welcome and the farewell activities. The fee does not include the cost for local accommodation.

Cancellation: If your circumstances change and you will no longer be able to join the summer school after you have paid your tuition fees, please note that you will receive 50% of your fees back if your withdrawal notice is received by 31 May 2019. After this date, you will receive 25% of your fees back prior to 15 June 2019 and none thereafter.

 

BHRICO for Practitioners

 
BHRICO offers a limited number of places for practitioners who are interested in attending the lectures and seminars of the summer school. You can either choose individual day(s) that you would like to attend, or you can attend the entire two weeks (from 7 to 19 July 2019) of the summer school. You will benefit from all services that are provided for the students. In 2019, the price of attendance is CHF 300 per day or CHF 1200 for two weeks (same as the tuition fee for the entire programme of the summer school).
